Continuous Improvement Specialist

Job Description

  • Provide "Manufacturing Operating System (MOS)" Basic knowledge to associates to build MOS awareness in every area of factory.
  • Improve associate MOS engagement e.g., conduct recognition award.
  • Lead Fundamental pillar and support Pillars activities to implement MOS program based on MOS roadmap.
  • Develop Continuous improvement culture to associate by training, coaching, encourage to do Improvement Idea, RCA, Kaizen, Green belt, Black Belt and arrange Kaizen contest and also be the Basic problem-solving tools trainer.
  • Leads a specific loss reduction project (role modelling in Continuous Improvement execution) e.g., SMED and Material losses.
  • Meeting arrangement and facilitate follow MOS guideline.
  • Consolidate plant KPIs performance by Daily, Weekly, Monthly basis use for internal/ global report, identify improvement area, losses priority for losses elimination for top management and concern and support any departments to do cost reduction or efficiency improvement initiatives projects e.g., GE Improvement.
  • Lead to be Future factory by drive Digital MOS, Manufacturing Excellence System (MES), GE light.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial engineering (or related field)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing environment preferred Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)
  • Profound knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance - TPM (prerequisite), Lean, 6Sigma methodologies (Green belt), Problem Solving tools, SPC, Kaizen, SMED etc.
  • Experience in an international and multi-cultural environment
  • Cross-functional exposure and collaboration
  • Change management experience 
  • Project management experience (leading project)
  • Experienced as a trainer
